The short version
Unequis sets only the cookies required to keep you signed in. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracking anywhere on this site or in the app.
What we set
Authentication cookies. Issued by Supabase, our authentication provider, when you sign in. They hold your session and refresh tokens so you stay signed in between visits and page loads. Without them you would be signed out on every navigation. They are removed when you sign out or delete your account.
Locale preference. If you change language, that choice is remembered so pages load in the language you picked rather than the one your browser guesses.
What we do not set
No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising or attribution cookies, no session recording, and no cross-site trackers. We do not run a third-party analytics package at all — not as a promise about how we use one, but because none is installed.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, consent is required for non-essential cookies. Cookies strictly necessary to deliver a service the user asked for — keeping you signed in — are exempt. Since those are the only cookies we set, there is nothing to ask permission for. If we ever add analytics, a banner appears with it and this page changes first.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. Stripe sets its own cookies there, including ones used for fraud prevention, governed by Stripe’s cookie policy. We never see your card details.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you view and clear cookies for a site. Clearing ours signs you out; nothing else is lost, since your data lives in your account rather than in the browser. Blocking cookies for unequis.io entirely will prevent sign-in from working.
